Back in 1981-1989, the cassette tape manufacture copyright in did not exist in Thailand.

Therefore, all the cassette tapes that were manufactured before and in 1989 were considered as Unofficial Vintage Thailand Edition, which are somewhat now valuable to the vintage collectors. Accordingly, most of the produced cassette tapes were Peacocks not Bootlegs.

Soon after the subjugation, the cassette tapes copyright has been officially established in 1990
